Special Themes are designed to encourage the use of seldom used camera settings. This one is, easy to do at home, just don’t burn the house down! Your image is to be lit by candle light only. Do not use any other light source, including daylight. “A small amount of ambient light is admissible to assist with the handling of your camera”, be careful not to over do it. At least one candle must appear in the image. What type of candle’s can be used? Any type that has an oxygen breathing flame on top, not gas or electrical. The subject to be lit by the candle/candles is up to you.

Make sure that you have the correct date / time set on your camera.
