Photo Arts Club Events & Field Trips

Field trips are organised roughly monthly and combine photographic opportunities with social interaction.

Sometimes it is a location that we target and sometimes an event. In the recent past these have ranged from moonrise on Kirra Hill, sharpshooters competitions at Coolangatta and Murwillumbah, a trip to Brisbane Botanical Gardens, others to South Bank, and one to “shoot” fire twirling at Burleigh. Then there was the big one – four days at Goondiwindi hosted by Goondiwindi Photography Club.

Some trips are on weekends and others mid-week. It always is fun to share images from the day with the wider membership, so participants are asked to supply their best 5 to 10 images to the Event Coordinator as soon as practicable after the event. Alternatively provide access to your selected images on DropBox at competition sizes. Slide-shows from the participants’ submitted best images will be prepared and screened to all club members at Inspiration Nights.
